Nigerian sports analyst, Charles Anazodo, shared on the ‘X’ platform the ordeal of his friend who was extorted of N25,000 in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
He recounted that his friend’s car broke down on Wednesday, January 24, and local troublemakers insisted on a payment of N70,000.
The area boys justified their demand by claiming that the breakdown occurred on a Federal road, leading to the exorbitant initial amount before settling at the agreed sum of 25k.
