EVERYDAY AND EVERY NIGHT PEOPLE ARE DYING IN MY COUNTRY – MARKREINZE

For the artist known as Markreinze, he sings that every day and every night people are dying in his country mainly from avoidable situations all brought about by poverty and negligence.

The artist in his latest effort titled So Wicked urges governments in Africa to make life easy for the citizenry of the continent as the truth keeps staring at them every day now.

According to Markreinze, so many people are under bridges, children are hawking on the streets instead of going to school and the leaders turn a blind eye pretending not to know.

As part of the lyrics, he sang that the leaders get richer every day and night while the poor’s conditions continue to denigrate.

The artist further sang that those in power have succeeded everywhere to weaponize poverty stressing that lack of education for the poor has been perfected into tactics to make the poor man poorer.

He further admonished all Africans to be their brother’s keepers in light of the challenges Africans are facing.

So Wicked comes in the reggae music genre and it is getting wide recognition around the globe; released in 2023, it is the artist’s second effort since 2022 the first is Gat To Be Strong’

The artist said he is basically an artist with a message.

Recall that his debut titled Spinning Around was released in the year 2000 and it enjoyed considerable airplay.

Some social media comments say that this is the kind of message artists should portray rather than singing without messages and showing obscene videos however some others have criticized the song as too conscious.
