Renowned prophetess, Ijeoma Ezenekwe, recently expressed her belief that it is not the responsibility of women to love their husbands.
Instead, she emphasized the importance of women honoring and submitting to their husbands.
During a sermon delivered to her congregation, Prophetess Ijeoma Ezenekwe highlighted that the Bible does not instruct women to love their husbands. According to her teachings, men are the ones who should love their wives, while women should focus on marrying men they can submit to and honor.
The prophetess discouraged women from making statements such as “I cannot marry him because I do not love him,” as it is not their duty to love their husbands. She emphasized that women should seek a man they can submit to and honor, rather than prioritizing love.
In her own words:-
“You are not supposed to love your husband. The Bible did not tell you to love your husband… It is not your duty to love him. It is his duty to love you. If the man says, ‘I can’t marry her because I don’t love her,’ then there is a problem. You don’t have a right to love him, so you don’t need to love him… What you should marry is a man you can submit to. A man you can honor is who you should marry, not a man you love. ‘It is the man that will love you.’”
